Double Bay Christmas Fair 2023
An unforgettable day of festivities and fun, the Double Bay Christmas Fair has officially launched and will surely become a staple of Sydney’s festive season. Hundreds of people flocked to Guilfoyle Park to find it transformed into an almost unrecognisable Christmas themed landscape. Boutique markets lined the park and music filled the air. See below just some of the incredible things that happened on the 9th and will return next year at the Double Bay Christmas Fair 2024!

Christmas Markets
First on the scene were the dogs dressed to the nines in Christmas Fashion. They were followed quickly by Santa who was there to take photos with humans and dogs alike!
Next on the scene were the last minute Christmas shoppers, who strolled down Guilfoyle Park, which was lined with some of Sydney’s finest street food and gift vendors. They were serenaded with live Christmas Music that filled the air and put everyone in good spirits.
Then it was the animals. Ponies taking kids for rides and ducklings splashing around in their water! Children gathered around, giggling at the unusual sight of cute baby farm animals in Double Bay. Even some of the parents got involved.
Just when it seemed it could get no better, face painting and a giant snow globe arrived on the scene!
The Double Bay Christmas Markets were a huge success, a load of fun and are sure to become a staple in Sydney’s Christmas life!

Carols in the Park
As the sun began to sink on Guilfoyle Park, families and friends gathered along the grass, anticipating the festivities to come. Pedestrians drawn by the site of staging and decorations filled the seats alongside people who had come from all over Sydney to see Chris Sebastian! Hundreds of people were in attendance.
The evening was opened by our beloved former Mayor, Susan Wynne who announced the events of the day, as well as the winners of the Christmas competitions.
Guilfoyle Park was filled with the sound of laughter and carols as Dee Uluirewa and her incredible back up singers led the Christmas Concert. Kids gathered around the front of the stage as Dee and her team engaged the audience with timeless carols and entertaining stories.
Of course the moment everyone was waiting for finally came when Chris Sebastian joined us on stage and reminded us we he won the Voice.
The Double Bay Christmas Carols were truly the highlight of the day and brought smiles and joy to everyone in attendance!
